Steve Rovarino is a pioneer in promoting Private LTE networks for educational deployments. As a principle of Red Rover Ltd, Steve started speaking with Educational Broadband Spectrum holders as early as 2012 on the concept of leveraging that spectrum in order to offer safe, reliable, high-speed internet in their community. Over the years, Red Rover has deployed over 30 networks throughout the nation leveraging EBS, CBRS and 5GHz spectrum.
In 2021, Steve was instrumental in negotiating a merger with Kajeet, a leading provider of wireless connectivity solutions for schools, businesses and government entities. Founded in 2003 in McLean, Virginia, Kajeet enables over 3,000 customers worldwide to close the digital divide in their communities. The acquisition of Red Rover’s private network designs and Steve’s industry experience strengthens and expands the Kajeet solution portfolio, offering top-of-the-line private LTE network services to its customers and prospects.
