Jeremy Cox, CETL® – CIO | Cybersecurity Advocate | Education Technologist
Jeremy Cox is the Chief Information Officer and Technology Director for Washington County School District, where he leads cybersecurity, infrastructure, and innovation initiatives that support thousands of students and educators.
With 24 years in education technology and 16 years in leadership roles, Jeremy is a Certified Educational Technology Leader (CETL®) known for bringing strategy and security together in the service of education. He has served for over 16 years on the organizing committee of SAINTCON—Utah’s premier
cybersecurity conference—and sits on the Board of Trustees for the UtahSAINT Organization.
Jeremy’s experience also includes past staff service at DEF CON, advisory roles with UETN and USBE, and formal training in digital forensics, physical security, and emergency communications.
Jeremy is a highly regarded speaker who translates complex cybersecurity concepts into real-world strategies for schools and government entities. Outside of work, he enjoys outdoor adventures with his family, emergency preparedness, and DJing for youth events.
