WiFi 6e/7 are here to stay, but we need to make significant changes in our environments as we go to implement the new standards. We'll focus on the changes in the Wi-Fi Standard around 6GHz and talk through what is needed to address them.
Interested in deploying 6GHz in your schools? What about eduroam? I led the international discussion on that topic.. and have learned a thing or two since then. We'll discuss the challenges around deploying WPA3-SAE, WPA3-Enterprise, OWE, and 6GHz and then reap the benefits once you do! Some of the topics will include: - WPA3 compatibility in devices - Deployment strategy for SSIDs - RF design - Access Point Spectral Density Power - Network design including requirements such as POE++ and bigger pipes.
